Ambassador's Biography

Ahmet Aydın Dogan was born on 8 August 1967 in Ankara, Turkey. 

  • 1985                                       Graduated from Ankara Tevfik Fikret High School.
  • 1989                                       Graduated from Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Ankara.
  • 1989-1990                                                       Translator and writer at the Directorate General of Information and Press.
  • 1990-1991                                                       Graduated from master program on international relations of the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium
  • 02.12.1991-31.10.1994                     Begins his diplomatic career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey as Attaché at the Deputy Directorate General of International Organizations.
  • 01.11.1994-30.09.1997                    Attaché and Third Secretary at the Turkish Embassy in Ottawa.
  • 01.10.1997-30.09.1999                    Third Secretary and Second Secretary at the Turkish Embassy in Riyadh.
  • 01.10.1999-30.09.2001                    Second Secretary and First Secretary at the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Mr. Dogan is married with two children. He speaks French and English.
